Skeleton creek is near center. It was was a fairly low intensity burn there, the caltopo global imagery was taken right after the Ferguson fire so it still shows black and the dozer lines.

Good luck on getting 40 crew strike teams. That many don’t exist in the system.

I was thinking that same thing. Are they thinking Fed Type 2 crews?

That was my first thought too. Can’t imagine CA has 80 more crews to commit to this thing.

Fed crews do not form strike teams

Maybe it’s time to deploy the military to work the colder lines and move the crews to the more strategcally critical areas of the line.

possible some crews will be released as Alaska fires are handled???
maybe some of the crews in AZ, NM and CO are released due to Monsoonal Flow???
This does not included the crews from CalFire, LaCo, and many others…thanks to a certain gov.
We will preserve…

Yes, that definetly could be an option.

We do it all the time, we just form up at incident. That’s how we get our guys signed off as STCR.

C903 is assigned to the fire tonight. Was going to work ahead of the dozers in Lima earlier. Then they had to set down in a field to clear the snorkel. I’m off the fire for the night and hopefully the next couple of days but we’ll see how that pans out… Lol. Good night everyone. Stay safe!
