Border AA stating fire is looking much better and will put in a request for a type 1 copter since he lost tankers.

Need to fly troops in and AA requested an additional copter; filled with H301 out of Hemet.

Nice piece of flying - always impressed by the skill of the S2 pilots. Seems like the VLAT/LAT birds always draw the attention away from the important work the smaller platforms get done.
I will say I sure miss the rattle of the old Pratt & Whitney Rotary engines - but now I’m dating myself

Was nothing like hearing a pair of them on an s2 fly over the house at low altitude rattling the windows.

When I worked at PRAAB, T03 was an SP2H assigned there. It had the nose and tail cones that gave it a cool long, sleek look. The twin 18 cylinder radials could be heard rumbling from a long way out and were really awesome up close!
