From past experience not much suppression on the Baja Fires. The Bomberos let them burn freely until they get bear the villages and structures. They use backfires as a primary tool, because lack of any resources. We went there over the past years and taught basic Fire Behavior, Safety and how to apply tactics to save lives and property.

Looks like a little wind on it this morning. We would donate are old Nomex and structure gear to the Bomberos and they were very appreciative of anything we gave them fire wise.

For those from the San Diego area, some
Point over the last 20 years, I remember a time when maybe you forgot to take the radios out of the stuff you gave them.

Look at Los Pinos cam and how those fire are in line with each other. Almost like a power surge or a heck of lines went down in a straight line. And another start to the far right. Crazy!
