Copter 10 ATS, 10 acres, SROS, potential of 100 acres+, not accessible by ground crews. Will need to troop shuttle but MVU down crews

A new start in a few canyons north of the main fire. Requesting 2 additional tankers

50 acres, MROS, will go extended, new starts. Air Attack is requesting (1) Type copter with crew (will be H301) and 1 LAT.

CA-CDD-BLM land. But MVU DPA. All the same incident.

For clarification, this is an MVU incident. May be FRA but state DPA.

AA keeping AT’s 70, 71 and 132. Releasing all other fixed wing. Fire is holding at 500 acres inside the retardant.

Per OPS to IC…fire has been mapped at 343 acres and 5% contained. Fire still holding in the retardant. Fire looking a lot better

From ECC to AA…ECC advising per TRACOM there is a new fire 7 miles south of this fire. AA enroute to check

Wind is picking up and challenging the control efforts, beginning to chew through the retardant line. Aircraft is getting blown around and AA is asking the tanker to begin painting the ridge. Possible order coming through if tanker is able to paint the ridgeline with success.

Winds are going to only increase through the day into tonight on the Desert slopes. Hopefully they can hold it in the box.
