Spot fire has established on the west side of the river (Nevada County side) estimated at 1 acre.
PCSO doing evacuations on Placer side, called out to NCSO for possible evacs on Nevada Co side

Lots and lots of homes in the area between the fire and I-80. Lots of homes up on the other side as well in the Dog Bar area. Ugly, ugly area for a fire. RH at the Secret Town RAWS was 11% at 1:00.

My old stopping grounds at station 30 NYP. We were always worried about a fire coming out of the river canyon.
From what I can see on the map. Little to no fire history west of Colfax.
