That fire started end of July. hasn’t been any local news, except hearsay, in weeks. on restricted, very isolated range, where they blow stuff up…said to have been started by someone doing something they were not supposed to do. interesting that they reposted the information.

so it went to 50,000 acres in less then 2 days??? where did you hear about the team assignment? would appreciate the info.
This fire is a limited suppression fire as its in the impact areas on the base. The navy Federal fire department is more monitoring it and firing off at key points to keep it in the impact areas. Very similar to what they do at pendleton and hunter liggett

Been burning for at least 3 days, I’ve been watching it on rammd satellite since I noticed it on the 17th, it will do the same thing as the one in late July which I think was nearly 50k at the end.
