CA NorthOps now at PL-5

Just noticed NOPS has gone to PL-5 early this afternoon. This is an indication of the strain on resources in play with all the major and minor incidents, general severity, and ability to fill orders by being called for by IC’s. For those not familiar, you can see more info on Preparedness Level definitions here.

I don’t want to say it is “rare” to go to PL5, but there’s been seasons where they never got up to 5. Just my impression - I don’t have stats on that but seems to me you don’t see it all that much.

Mod NOTE: If there is relevant information regarding the NOPS move to PL5, please continue to discuss. However, this is neither the time or place to complain about the budget cuts which have been beaten to death in other threads. The few Mods left are very busy working to keep the threads clean and somewhat organized. Please don’t make our job harder by having to edit posts or delete them altogether
