Not sure exactly where this canyon is or the jurisdiction…maybe ORC. Looks to be in a nasty area surrounded by very expensive homes

I believe this is Laguna Beach. This is named the Rancho Fire. Tankers en-route with AA-330. IC did request 10 engines for structure defense.

Literally was driving down this highway yesterday pointing out to my wife that these canyons have burned many times and looked due again.

It has been back burning up hill against the wind. If it slope reverses and aligns with the wind it will be nasty.
