The fire has spotted across 395 per CHP CAD

These pixels are 2km x 2km so you cannot tell for sure where the fire is in the pixel.
You can see where the crossing of 395 likely occurred.

The red pixel directly north of the word Doyle has just turned from low to high.
This is a pretty good indication that the fire is moving around Doyle.

I might have heard AA15 out of Fresno heading there or was it Bootleg Oregon fire. I was far from the radio.

With PL 5 announced yesterday…team assignments will be all over the board. Three Ca type 2 teams assigned yesterday and two of the three are out of state in Montana and Washington. I think the Beckworth having a kind of off and on fire behavior with potential still, justifies a type 1. When we get like this historically, we see teams also on fires that don’t match up with complexity necessarily. Just gotta trust the higher ups are making the right decisions.
