Looks like it’s well within the Dixie burn scar. I’d be curious what the fuels are like now.

Some areas have a lot of standing dead timber, too, as well as dry downed sticks.
Thanks for that info…Snags are dangerous and if it’s loaded with dead and down it just takes longer for suppression and perimeter control.
Between a big natural geological barrier and moonscaped salvage logging on the private ground at the top of the hill, this fire doesn’t seem like it’s got a whole lot of opportunity to grow large.
I’m relaxing a little now as the wind has died down. Still getting some gusts, but not like what was happening a couple of hours ago.
