Its a fed imt they typically dont publish the IAP for wide distro unless some things have changed this year.

Today’s IAP isn’t up yet but yesterday’s is and most of the maps are on there too.

This year everything is changed for sure, QR codes for check in, IAP,s, medical surveys in camp. A lot less paper being passed around.

So happy to see the feds have embraced the e-distro of the IAP without the need for passwords etc.

How close is the fire now to Forest Falls? I saw a ‘voluntary evac’ listed yesterday I believe. Asking for a friend who has family that has a home there, but currently traveling. Last perimeter map I saw still showed it was ways out, but that was a day or two ago.

Here is a great way to track progress towards Forest Falls:

Anyone up-to-date with east flank? Morongo Valley concerns or still holding at Millard Canyon? Crossed Whitewater Canyon yet? TIA

East flank looking good, MGO is still a ways out. Millard Canyon to Potrero Canyon was just burned in firing operation. Whitewater Canyon should be passed after the firing but still not out of the clear.

Perfect. Thank you!

Any progression map? Curious how big that burn job was on the 7th.

Heard approx 3000 +-

Did you check the NIFC FTP site? Another way I sometimes look at that is to take the kmls from the NIROPS fights and put them up on Google earth. You can set them to show up in different colors.

I was told 11k acres . It was massive.

I am confused, I heard this was a blowout and I also heard it was a burn op. So what happened?

Burn op, roughly 6k, the only thing I’m aware of was a ¼ acre slop that was picked up quickly by holding forces.
