CA-RRU/BDF-Apple??

Ouch! The Apple is in northern Whitewater drainage and the Water Fire is in southern Whitewater drainage.

Smart idea. One AA on both perhaps as well.

Water Branch is 30 acres pushing up canyon.

Yeah, the Apple influence is going to pull the Water Fire up Canyon toward it. I’ll be surprised if these don’t merge if they don’t catch the Water Fire soon. With no air In guessing they won’t.

Base Camp is at Nobel Creek Park at 650 W Oak Valley Parkway. It is the usual spot that gets used every year.

Any cameras on Water fire???

Should the Water Fire be its own thread?

I started a Q and D for now. Lets move this over.

New start on Branch 3? Hearing it is 25 acres but not requesting any additional resources?

Now that fire has entered or will enter White water and maybe Mission creek forks we need to watch for a change in fire progression direction. Fires like the heart-millard and lake fire made runs back towards the forest with diurnal wind changes. You cant just push this to the desert

The good thing is the lake made a nice break all along onyx summit. At coon creek jump off though there was a big swath of green on the north side that did not burn but pretty treatable with retardent. All the burn scar you see on the map from lake at coon creek jump off is uber steep and was the brush transitional fuels down to the desert floor I would not call that area much of a break until you get to the end of 1N02 then it burned well up to the summit.

Its a fed imt they typically dont publish the IAP for wide distro unless some things have changed this year.

Today’s IAP isn’t up yet but yesterday’s is and most of the maps are on there too.

This year everything is changed for sure, QR codes for check in, IAP,s, medical surveys in camp. A lot less paper being passed around.
