AA asking for a VLAT and lead plane.
Per AA a slope reversal has occurred and fire activity is picking up quickly. IC just requested 10 additional engines any type immediate need
INTEL24 overhead for a mapping mission. The wind tends to blow out of the north here after sun down which could drive the fire up slope.
IC is also requesting availability of night flying aircraft
That is exactly what is happening right now. Fire is making a hard push up slope/to the south. IC advising Hwy 74 is still open and needs to be shut down immediately to avoid entrapments as the fire is impacting the hwy

Fire is making a strong push to the south, per air attack. 10 additional engines, any type, requested by incident command.
This fire is in the exact area of CNF Falls fire in 2013. Photo taken on Hwy 74 right where this fire is.
Fire chased me down from the top as it burned downhill towards the lake.
Per OPS the fire has crossed HWY 74 looking for a Structure Group in area of the Ortega Market
Fire just jumped the 74 and IC wants a structure group set up.

Lots of exact same fire history in this spot. Fought it many times. Onshore should slow down after sundown
