It looks the fire has moved East quite a bit, It is now up in the steeper terrain.

400 acres, AA was calling the potential of 1000 earlier, i misunderstood it as 1000 as well.
Fire is running into the lake, starting to go direct on it, have 5 S-2 tankers and 1 type 1 tanker, with 3 type 2 helicopters and 1 Helitanker still enroute.
Fire looks to be making a hard push around the South East side of the Lake. Tankers are working it hard.

Officially Cal Fire calling it 800 Acres and 20 % Contained at 1730 Hrs per RRU Website.
At 1930 Hrs they have updated the size to 1,261 Acres and 40% Contained.

As of 20180518 the Patterson Fire is 100% contained at 1,261 acres. Cause of the fire has been linked to metal grinding equipment.
