I have been there lots of times. When I was at San Jacinto we had a plan. AND it worked. We rarely pumped at all Just took the Torches and walk the razorback creek beds. Backed up by Beaumont, Perris, West Riverside and Yucaipa it was a snap. The Hand crews had a lot of mop up.

The fire is now 1,500 acres and 0% contained. Per command the fire will impact Highway 79 in 1 to 1.5 hours. There are no evacuations in place per CAL FIRE Riverside. 3 night flying helicopters and a night air attack have been requested. Resource request for tomorrow per command: 4 type 1 engine strike teams, 4 type 3 engine strike teams, 12 crews, 10 water tenders, 6 dozers, 5 heavy tankers, 2 medium tankers, 2 helitankers, 2 type 3 tankers.
