75 acres, getting established in Snow Canyon, about to cross into FRA. Extended attack possible. Will need clearance for chainsaws and retardant in the wilderness area.

Gawd awful country

Pretty much every fire in that country burns strong uphill and then you end up in structure defense either in Snow Creek Village, Western Village (windy point) and then Tramway Road…usually late at night or early morning. Depends on the influence from the valleys to the desert

At about 0845 saw a helo getting water along side the 10 just down from the heel of the fire.
