AA ordering 2 closest helicopter. 1 additional air tanker any type.
BC11 assuming IC, ordering 10 additional type 3’s “immediate”.
10 acres now
6 additional handcrews and 4 additional water tenders.
On top of previous orders, an additional 10 any type engines due to structures.
Helicopters 538 and 301 assigned, ordering an additional type 1 helicopter.
AA saying fire is looking good, retardant around alot of the fire, right heel is the priority. “Just need people to engage on the ground”
Thick brush fields in there, having done some fuel work up there, lots of dead end roads in 10 foot brush.
This is south of last years Fairview fire. I recall a lot of fuel in that area, transiting east to Red Mountain There may be some shift in vendor resources from the Bonny to this. My tender is on Bonny and just got told to stage in Anza from the suppression repair assignment and be prepared for reassignment to the new incident.
I heard that, but may have been in regards to the other RRU fire?
There is no AA on the Almond, and it was Stanley AA talking to Stanley IC.
Yeah, Fairwiew stayed North of Red Mountain, there is huge brush field south of there that wasnt impacted by that fire. Most of it is owned by riverside county
20-25 acres
Div Yankee is starting to make a good run, AA ordering 2 type 1 air tankers, closest.
South ops offered the VLAT as one of the type 1 tankers, AA changed the order to 1 type 1 tanker
Canceling the type 1 tanker order
Edit: tanker 12 was already enroute, AA continuing T12.
Changing AA, releasing tankers.
The camera shows it’s pretty much caught barring something drastically changing.
