Sunset fire in Banning. Sunset Ave and W Wilson St.
IC - 20 acres, Dangerous ROS, potential for several 1000. He asked for 10 engines before, now another 10, plus lots of the usuals. It hasn’t hit the end of the plateau yet.

I grew up in this exact area. It’s always relatively windy during evening hours. And the hillsides above Banning havent had fire activity since the 2013 Summit Fire. This one has some devistating potential.
Note, a lot of this land is flashy fuels that didn’t get hit by the Apple Fire of 2020 since that was a bit further north.
