New Fire in SCU near Milpitas, Country Fire burning off of Country Club Drive and N. Park Victoria Drive in Milpitas has charred at least 25 acres, according to Cal Fire. It sounds like 4 Air Tankers are assigned. CAL FIRE BC 1613 advises potential for 150 acres at this time.
AA is ordring 2 additional type 1 Tankers for a total of 6. AA also advising if they can’t hold the dirt road at the head and it spots across it could go 500 plus acres.
Currently calling it 150 acres.
Per AA 200 acres and 40% Contained, Retardant across the head but the flanks keep making runs.
