New fire in the area just below and to the west of the LICK OBSERVATORY in SCU? Maybe near Smith Creek FFS.

There are two control burns in the area. Could be the Deer Valley Rx burn…350 acres.

That would be it. Alert California has an icon posted on the map for the deer Valley rx but it’s covered by the camera direction lines.
