Approx 70 acres. Fire running to Grantline.
IC added 2 more engines. 1 more dozer. 2 more tankers. And the EU Copter out of LNU.
Decent column.
FROM IC: “Tankers unable to drop due to smoke conditions & unable to visualize the windmills”.
Fixed:T80, T79, ATK460 (Hollister),
Rotor: C913 Alma Helitack - San Jose
Media: N7QY-SKY7 (ABC7)
Looks like a Pumpkin was set up for C913 at at the field where the RC planes fly from off Northfront Rd in Livermore (Need visual confirmation)
It appears the fire is east of the EB 580 Brake Check Area (Flynn Road) as you start to descend down the hill from the Brake Check Area where the WB 580 runs above EB 580. Access will be from Flynn Road and if it gets big enough Patterson Pass road. Lots of burns in this area.
Looks like a nice catch per the camera, as I don’t have any updates from Calfire or County of Alameda Fire websites. Will continue to monitor on the Alameda County Fire Scanner Radio application

ICP at cutout east of Flynn on EB-580
19:05 PDT: Looks like forward progression has been stopped at 70 acres per scanner and ICP.
Thank you to the owner of the Broadcastify Scanner, reception has been awesome.
20:40 PDT All resources for the Flynn Incident have been released from the incident per iCP
The new issue on East 580 is they put a shoulder guard rail from Flynn all the way down to Grantline. This make it hard for the engine and dozers to access off of the shoulder. The same for the center divide going east bound. Have to know where the openings are. But typical fire "burn a hundred acres and be back in a couple hours for dinner.
