No doubt named for Henry Coe State Park. Looking at the cams, it looks to be still in the grass, but on the east of the ridge the fuels get heavier. Lots of large fire history in this area.
Coe Park is a rough place to fight fire. Been a long time since there was significant fire activity there. FM are below average in that area, the Bay Area could be in for a long fire season…
The fire looks to be getting after it, for 0730 in the morning. SCU had a very busy night with multiple fires.
AA has ordered 4 Tankers for around 0800.
Predicted winds are already surfacing and pushing it.
Weather at 2300’ just south of the incident.

I used to be a VIP in SCU and would patrol this area on the 4th of July looking for fireworks
200 acres, 25% contained per air attack…
Looking like its being brought under control. Activity has cooled way down.
Via the Holiday Lake cam.
A couple of flare ups showing on the camera.

Not good blowing towards the handline with low RH
the smoke near the line was dealt with and the other smoke is well interior.
