Looks like a working Vegetation Fire in the Altamont Pass Area, SCU/Alameda County.
If it is the smoke showing on the Cams, it looks very dark and thin at the base. Might be a large structure or refuse fire. Or maybe I am seeing something else. Very dark smoke for a vegetation fire. It looks like a large outdoor fire.

Coming down Twain Harte grade could see a big header out that way but couldn’t see the base of it. There is a plastic pallet yard on fire in Stockton. Don’t know if this is what you are seeing.
There is a large fire at a plastic pallet yard in Stockton that is putting up a lot of dark smoke. Not sure if that’s what you are seeing.

There are 2 fires. 1st (probably large column) a prescribed burn off a corral hollow at the national lab. 2nd fire Grant IC off 580 near the race track. Initial report 2 acres MROS.

The heavy column is coming up from the flat country not up at Site 300.
EDIT: The camera direction places it between Tracy and Stockton
