Canceling Dozers and WT’s. The fire is at the top of ridge and 15 acres. This will be a long hike in show as well as aircraft

Similar spot to the fire a few weeks ago, long hike in from the Alta Rd side. Not very good access to get type 3’s close. Aircraft will have to check it, and then hike crews in. Last update was 15 acres and access is through the prison parking lot.

I happened to be there right when it started. It’s right above the Bailey Detention Facility (the white buildings in the distance). Here is the first pic I took appx. 30 mins ago at the start.
This one is a different view from Alta Rd.

FROS stopped at 20-25 acres, crews will remain overnight with the winds.
