New start in the area of Otay Mesa Rd X Alta Rd (Siempre Viva Rd and Paseo de la Fuente).
Started appx. 1120hrs. Light flashy fuels, adjacent to SDG&E lines. These pictures were at the start and it blew up pretty quick after I took the pictures.

10 acres, holding within the road system. 5 additional type 3’s, 2 crews, and 2 WTs added.

LOL…I was being a little silly. When I got there it was about half an acre and it went to 10 quickly. I meant that she got herself going. You guys are so serious in here.

IMO, the words “blew up” or “blown up” are two of the most overused and exaggerated phrases in wildland firefighting.
Along with “shakey containment”
