AA calling it 15 acres MROS with a structure threat AA2CG is bunnie AA.
Bunny AA saying 10-15 MROS in medium fuels
Aircraft… Air Attack 2CG. Air Tankers 70, 71. Copters 11, 538, HT729.
The fire is bumping San Vicente Rd. Intel 24 will be over the fire shortly. Air Attack is reporting the Fire is making a hard push and if it jumps San Vicente road more Resources are going to be ordered.
IC ordering 2 additional WT’s
Woodson camera is best. That fire looks hungry, has a lot to eat in front of it.
The fire is making a run from the heel up little Klondike. 10 additional engines any type.
Chopper 8 over the fire
Hearing it spotted across chuckwagon rd.
It did indeed…crews are trying their best to keep it south of San Vicente
If they don’t keep it south of there then they will be in for a long couple days.
There are a couple of comments in the IA respective to the ordering of 15 additional engines vs 3 ST/E. Because this is a comment rather than a IA information, I am putting it in here under the discussion portion. The request for 15 engines is a very specific order, and while that will get filled, it will most likely be filled in a ST configuration even if those are single increment responses. The ST will form up, in most cases at the incident and will be assigned as a complete ST. Both individuals posting about the resource order are correct in their vernacular and reporting. It’s more of a timing element as opposed to single increment vs a complete ST. During IA operations, orders will often be requested in this fashion.
