Hayfork RAWS picked up a meager .07” of rain from that fairly strong looking cell. Fuel moisture didn’t even budge.

Ground resources enroute estimating half acre, mid slope. Originally called in from Hayfork Bally. Looking for a tanker and copter.

Fire Update: The China Fire, located in the general vicinity of Hayfork had no fire growth overnight and remains at approximately 1 acre. Fire personnel continue to work the fire, falling trees and mopping up.

Activity on both fires moderated into the evening as a smoke inversion settled over the fire. The fire became active again at about midnight. Crews were actively engaged in structure protection overnight.
