Lots of fires started within 10 minutes.

First fire, across from Shea pond. 2 acres rapid rate of spread.
Second fire 2 to 3 acres. Behind the power plant, rapid rate of spread.
Third fire clear Creek at honey bee. 10 to 12 acres rapid rate of spread.
Fourth fire. Panther Rd. 3 acres. All rapid rate of spread and structures are in danger of being lost.

Largest fire is the 4th, reportedly at 100 acres.

Shasta Trinity sent a strike team to this incident.

A couple Tankers have been diverted from the Pawnee Fire to the Creek Fire.

Fire is spotting, requesting assistance from an air tanker.

2456 is at scene of a new start with structures threatened.

The scancal live scanner is focused on TGU-Lane fire, sorry. It’ll have some SHU initial attack traffic on there, including Command 9 for Creek Command, but it will be behind Lane radio traffic, and mixed with some stuff coming up the valley from LNU-Pawnee.

New Evacuations for the Creek Fire:

Panther Road, south of Clover Lane.
Dale Lane, north and south of Cloverdale Road.
Clover Lane.
Tobacco Road.

Sounds like this thing is moving pretty good, AA is talking about spotting and is bringing in 4 Type 1 Tankers to try and keep it check.

Evacuation information:

edit: Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an older 1990’s gold or tan minivan which may be involved.

1,300 acres and 30% contained.

This mornings update per CAL-FIRE 60% contained still at 1350ac.
