Another new fire in Siskiyou Co, per AA about 15 mins ago it was 15-20 acres w/ moderate ROS & a spot fire 1/2 mile out in front which was in heavy timber. Difficult access for ground resources. Near Duzel Rock Lookout, northeast of Etna in Siskiyou County. This info is from a Cal Fire Tweet.

This scanner feed is focused on the Duzel and Kidder fires, and also gets traffic from the Lime.
Controlled as of 0936 this morning. Good work by these folks. No doubt the high humidity and cool overnight temps helped.
Edit: Pretty sure I heard that wrong, it’s WAY too early for that fire to be controlled. CalFire web site shows it 15 acres, 35% contained.
