Perfect timing for ALERTWildfire to setup their new cameras and they have been posistioned in their current hot spot for lightning strikes.

Calling the largest fire the “Creek”.
2nd Fire higher up on ridge, it’s been contained with 4-5 hours of mop up.
Redding (Chico actually) launched an S2 late this morning and it’s reloading out of Medford. Copter 506 also over the fire, on a ridge east of McKinney Creek, SE of OakBar. In this rough area - and a bit south of there.

This one is the Barkhouse fire. Sounds like they are making good progress.

I’ve heard they have been up for about 3 months now with a few more on the way in the Weed area.
