Sheriff’s evacuating Upper Lopez Canyon north of French Camp. Fire is moving towards the N/E & is well into the forest.
200 acres, moving into the FRA, has jumped multiple retardant lines.
AA order for tomorrow 2 type 1 tankers, 2 type 3 tankers, all 4 copters currently assigned (H-527, 528, 7BH, 2CH)
Also ordering AA-51 for night IR of the fire.
225-250 acres, 75% in the FRA, the structure threat is mostly mitigated.
2/3rds of the fire has retardant line around it. The head of the fire is in inaccessible terrain and is all handcrew work per the IC.
