CA-SLU/LPF-LOPEZ?

New start near Lopez Lake in Arroyo Grande in French Camp Area. Unknown size, rate of spread

Per air attack. 30 acres, moderate to rapid ROS.

Large column showing from Arroyo Grande. AA and IC just placed an order for 10 additional, closest Type 3’s, 4 crews, 2 dozers. Immediate structure threat.

AA is ordering two additional LAT’s. Fire is well established now. Over 50 acres with a minimum potential of 500

The ordering point is SLU or LPF ?

It has been SLU from what I have been hearing.

SLU initiated the fire and should keep it. Down the road they may transition to LPF if necessary but definitely not in the middle of the firefight.

Satellite just picking up heat well south of this fire on the county line of SB and SLO. South of Nipomo.

That’s a new fire in a Santa Maria river bed

Right now it’s team 12 on 2 hr. Team 11 is coming off the Taboose Fire and will be back up on 2hr mon or tues depending on how many days rest they get.

Any information on where the strike teams that are forming up are from ?
