SLU had a 2nd incident working with full aircraft enroute to it, just outside of Paso Robles, Mustang fire that has forward progress stopped, diverting some of the aircraft from the Mustang to the Rock incident.

Sounds like they made a good stop on this one. Glad it didn’t turn out to be the Chimney 2. Hope they cancel all the excess equipment, there will be plenty of fires soon with the conditions turning hot and dry.
