CA-SNF-Basin/Rock?

Looks like the box just got bigger and more mandatory evacuations according to the WD App. SRA Almost.

if Sacata ridge holds, the fire is still 3 miles from SRA (except for a few small pockets on Sacata ridge.and at Haslett Basin)

It looks like Maxon Road may end up as one of the edges of the box.

The rock fire is currently staffed and contained per cad.

With all the creeks and rivers in the Basin, it interested me about Water Drafting measures in the National Forests.

Access for water trucks though would be a challenge but pumping directly from the rivers and creeks I wondered what was allowed. :christmas_tree: :christmas_tree:  Be safe out there everyone and thank you.

Most of those creeks are a trickle at this point, pine flat probably the only option in the area. Large number of water tenders are on the resource list

We used Pine Flat, I think it was Deer Creek area for tenders on the Hog Fire. From the boat ramp. The Federal Park Rangers helped with keeping an area clear for truck maneuvering.

Delilah 2 has been focused on this area this morning. Would this be the Rock fire getting into fresh fuels?

No, that looks to be pocket inside the Basin burn scar.
The Rock does have an engine on it today verifying it’s status.

Update on the ROCK FIRE:
Crews hiked into fire and moped up one hot spot inside the burn. All lines are holding.
Fire remains contained. Still in patrol status.

Caught SQF Crew 10 and horseshoe shots hanging out by pine ridge elementary school at 9pm then they saw me took off across the street .

Have they regained status?

Crew 3 is shown as horseshoe meadow ihc, they all bedded down across the street from the school, kind of a hard spot to get sleep with the traffic that takes auberry instead of 168 but the temperature is very nice . It was a line of lights coming down the 4 lanes of 168 an hour ago.

Bald mountain volunteer patrol 63 was out and about also.
