Modis picking up heat, it’s a bad area if so. Heavy brush and timber with many homes.

AirTac 15 Redinger airtac lifted off at 0800. A/G Traffic on 167.475
Command 172.225. Its a SNF fire, not posted to inciweb yet.
I have no details to other equipment nor a sizeup, that I have heard.

2 fires? oh noes. not good at all.
Castle fire has been stopped, Redinger fire is actively burning in more rugged terrain. Combined 170 acres. If there is a good thing the north side of the river is much lighter fuels, if it gets to the south side it will have real heavy fuels, a steep very long slope, and one fair access.

Making good progress on the Redinger fire.
AA15 requested K-max from Lions fire for the second heavy rotorwing.
AA15 also states confidence is high for control today, looks really good. He says all four fires have burned together.
AA504 off Fresno to relieve AA15.

AA 504 off fire and AA15 back over fire.
Reports fire looks really good, all heat well within interior and that
the dozer line and tanker drops stopped forward progress. Lines look
well and no heat. The 2 rotory wings will continue to work with mopup
efforts. AA15 will release himself back to Fresno soon for possible IA assignments.
