Windy Point is on Mammoth Pool Reservoir.

SNF is ordering 2 LEO helicopters with PA’s to get out in front of the fire and start doing advisements to get people out.

Fire is NOT yet established in Stevenson Creek drainage. If it does, it will be the trigger point to evacuate Shaver Lake. The fire is backing on the North/West side of the San Joaquin River towards structures.
Sounds like the fire is not up on Musik Mountain yet. It is North of their now.

PT 52 is reporting a spot fire between Mammoth Pools and Shuteye Pass.

Mammoth Pool road is not passable currently. FS LEO is advising she is stuck at the Apple Ranch, with fire on both sides of the road.

A Patrol is staging at the apple orchard with fire on both sides on mammoth pool rd. Maybe that’s P52 again. Between clearwater and fish creeks\ you can delete this.

AA 51 Fire Watch states due to extreme fire behavior and large high altitude plume, he can not complete an IR map. Will email off video and create a "blob"map of the progression.

Cascadel update: fire is gaining containment with tankers and MMU resources. Around 5 acres.
SNF sending patrols into the forest behind Cascadel to evac campers.

from GOES 17 at 1640 hours. I think that is the largest fire “blob” I have seen on GOES.
