My prayers for peace and comfort for his family, his fire family and friends. Rest in peace Braden it was a honor to work with you on fires.

Rest In Peace brother. As far as the fire is concerned this will probably be a big one. Next major river canyon from the Rim Fire. Hundreds of acres of contiguous bug kill timber and really steep, nasty country.

What roads are they lining up for structure protection>? Which way is it moving, have friends in the area just want to give them a heads up.

Fresno FD does not have a Type 1 Task Force. It’s either a Type 1 US&R company or their Regional Task Force.

Their rescue is a OES type 1. Not a task force
Regardless they are there and supposed to get flown in with equipment and man power to effect the extrication and exfil of the fallen Firefighter
