Garnet Fire: Just dispatched a response from SNF. Looks like access is (12S01) Vomac Dr., I don’t see a river drainage name on the map? besides Verplank creek due east.

Garnet is on the north side of the Kings River about 2 miles up river from the “bailey bridge”
AA15 reports 40 acres low angle slope of grass and brush SROS. Chiefrog correct, north of river , south fork kings.

Garlic IC updates is 1 acre very large diameter dead and down. They are getting a 8 person hand crew to help. Priority is the one fire they see nearby that is not maned. High potential for roll out down canyon. No name or coordinates I have seen/heard of for second fire.
BCs are talking about ordering a type 3 team.
Fire activity is starting to pick up on the garnet, the up canyon wind moving the inversion out.

Garlic Fire requested tanker Drops on their fire so they have T121 enroute to cover it
in mud since Garnet has ended tanker drops.

Garnet IC is patrolling the west flank as it progress and sees multiple spots between rodgers ridge and east side of north fork kings river. High outflow from thunder storms.

There is a plan to the extent that Div.A is active and engaged in firing off 12S01 road from Hermit Hole, westward down river on the north side following the fire backing downslope. 12S01 at Hermit Hole eastward is blocked by many burned fallen trees.
SQF staging resources at Rodgers Bridge?? For engaging the south side of the
canyon.
