Nite copter 508 finished a recon for the north flank and could not find a route from any side for nite copters. Returning to Reedly.

Also, Div. M patrolling (22:30) and has a 10 acre spot established in section 35 across the road. I see this is the McKenley Grove road loop shows a tent camp ground and Ops map is DP32. It’s progressing up slope

AA15 requesting the 2LATs at fresno base to the fire. Working West flank Div.A.

Update at 12:15, 4 LATs were working the next objective a contingency line with double dozer wide line and retardant double wide in Fence meadows. AA has T121 enroute… 3 spots already over the line that he’s hoping T121 will catch… maybe Div.G - J…

update 16:00, Fire activity has moderated; Crews have gone direct with dozers, hand crews and masticators across the north flank. If indirect line is made, firing is planned today and night. Copters will support with retardant drops to add depth. Spots were engaged directly.

Helco shut down the night copters due to smoke out conditions again.
Had a few hours of work completed after sunset.

54,924 acres as of 16:00 today. $69 million cost.

AA requesting both scoopers to the fire.
Caltopo plotted viirs and terra heat signatures are ebbing in intensity or just altogether not showing, fire wide.
Visibility reduced… hold scoopers…
