This is looking up the creek from trimmer springs, there’s a blocked off access on that side of the bridge and a cow track being used as a trail that heads up towards the fire.

And took 7 hrs for someone to get on scene and a guy 15 miles away was yelling to himself just walk to it now you’re there. I don’t understand not having someone hike in from the bottom while Intel 12 was there.

The crews did great, it was a display of local knowledge and experience listening to the person leading the crew hiking the ridge above the fire coming up with a plan to protect the cow camp nearby, recommending dozers stick to the fire break on the ridge, and telling the ic the ridge was a contingency line for the rough fire and knew that some of lines were still fairly open.
