Tanker 911 and now 912 as well as 737 having made at least 4 drops seem to be looping out of Porterville for a very fast turnaround, here’s hoping! Update, the 3rd DC 10 is here also Tanker 914

A recent twitter post said it is raining burning embers in 3 Rivers.

Earlier there was lots of charred bark, wood, and leaves but nothing “burning”. Lots less coming down now. No sense in panicking people with hyperbole.

Exactly. There’s still a lot of open acreage to burn before it gets in to the actual “communities of Springville and three rivers”. The outer areas of the communities are closer to the fire but still a ways away.

Doesn’t matter if it’s Fed or State team the lack of resources available is the biggest problem any team will face right now.
This fire has been under staffed since it started.
