First fairly clear day we’ve had here in Pine Flat (23 miles south of fire) in days. This is looking from my place on deck north. It’s pretty “active”. Much better view below me in the village, but didn’t have phone with me…

Just seen that and if it gets down deep in that drainage they will have some serious problems

2 MAFFS flew out of Mcclellan and made a drop.
Fire visible all the way from Sherman Peak and fire well established in Alder Creek in Bravo. It really picked up its pace today. Community of Sequoia Crest is on the front line now.
Yeah they may of got lucky during the pier fire let’s see if they can dodge another one.
Hopefully there is a robust night shift.
By the looks of the pics being posted from in Nelson, things aren’t looking good at all.

The fire is at the edge of Mountain Home State Forest and has spot fires across summit road.

not good, need to keep it east of Mt Home, and the Wishon cut off and Black Mt. I can’t recall any Fire history on that Mountain and it’s Thick.
