New Fire in Kern. Interagency response with SQF and Kern. 1-1/2 acres mid slope, moderate rate of spread. Asking for 2 additional helicopters and 2 additional air tankers.

We caught it pretty quick with SQF resources coming off the line from the call incident, and the local KRN folks. Had it been earlier in the day it had potential. Fire is BLM FRA with a bit of SRA mixed in. Good catch by all involved .
