40 acres, single tree torching with spotting. Looks like a handful of rotor wing working it along with a line of Type 1 air tankers.

Any information on ground resources on this fire?

There’s a lot of air traffic over my house.

Seems like one you’d order smokejumpers on. At 0850 hrs, 1/10acre, somewhat remote, long drive times.
I am biased though.

Sounds like Team 10 has been ordered up.

Size updated to 915ac at 0800, from 75ac at 2200 the previous day. I’d imagine tactical firing is a large contributor. Light winds and non-critical RH minimums in the forecast. Several crews assigned.

Per the six rivers: The Boise Fire, located approximately 5 miles southeast of Orleans in the Boise Creek Drainage, is experiencing active fire behavior with rapid rate of spread. The fire is currently 915 acres and 0% contained. Fire behavior includes crowning, uphill runs, and long-range spotting. Multiple structures are threatened. Several ground and aerial resources are on scene utilizing an aggressive, direct and full suppression strategy.

What’s the proximity to the SRF-Complex from last year? Orleans hosted a camp.

Just a hand full of miles to the southeast of the Pearch fire, part of the complex.

Here’s a video about how local input helped direct the strategies and tactics chosen for last year’s Pearch Fire, just north of this one. Many of the same players from last year are involved in the Boise Fire.

Major change in smoke production from Oregon MTN Cam and T-1 tankers working out of RDD on fire. Any updates?
