CA-SRF-Hill??

Been there before on the ground and as AA in 2017. Multiple lightning fire’s then created heavy smoke inversions that limited aerial resources to mid afternoon. The Six Rivers NF is rugged and tough on all resources working incidents there.

North Ops was showing CICIMT 4 assigned with an in brief not until the 19th at 1000. I’m not sure why it would take 2 days to assemble.

Very possible with all the fire activity many of Team 4’s people were already engaged elsewhere and it will take a couple of days to get them in place. Not an uncommon problem when we hit PL 4 or 5.

That makes sense, CICIMT 11 was in 4th position until team 4 was activated now they aren’t showing as available. Perhaps they have some members committed elsewhere.

As I understand it CICiMTs are down for 7 days upon completion of a 14 day assignment

Seems odd a CalFire team is going. Is there state land threatened?

It’s in unified command.

Pretty mild burning conditions over there today:

Gonna get some ‘good fire’ out of it.

Thanks, wasn’t up there earlier. Looks like the state has a pretty well established base camp now in Eureka to support this.
