Cooking on a few sides now. Cumulus fields developing to the east and southeast, they may become the afternoon’s thunderstorms.
Firing operation interior, of the Kelly to square it up. Some activity in DIV MM on the east side.
This dozer line was cut early this week atop High Divide:
Looks like a control or contingency line?? Box seems big??

Good thing the fire is not moving much. Barely any growth over past week.
Problem with SM is that everybody thinks they need to exaggerate when they post something. Just like seeing a fire at night. Estimate acres and divide by 5…
Edit: Hundreds of vehicle to me indicate 200+, turned out to be 50 (which is nothing to sneeze at).
Edit #2: Seems the fuel tender tanks had been filled with the incorrect fuel from a distributor
15:25 UPDATE FROM THE IMT:
We do not have a fuel disaster taking place. We did have a fuel issue that has been resolved.
Thank you,

Happened in the late stages of the American fire. fuel was incorrectly filled into the onsite fuel tender. vendor fixed the problem, including draining tanks and replacing fuel filters before the end of shift.
First report is usually not that accurate. Will be interesting to see how this info changes.
Reportedly 42 vehicles, requiring 42 tows.
