CA-STF-Ruby???

Fire visible on Mt Elizabeth cam. Haven’t heard any info.

Looks like Rose creek at towards Jupiter. Have not heard a report on conditions no ones on scene yet. Both Cal Fire and Feds responding. That use to be my IA from Twain Harte Cal Fire. A good 30 to 45 min drive.

Just went through it frame by frame and I think they are one and the same. The camera shifts around a bit as they focus and zoom in, but the pattern of trees that frames the fire is pretty distinctive and looks to be the same. Also, it looks like there is ate least some kind of a road in the vicinity of the fire. Hopefully they’ll be able to gain access.

This is in my backyard…A lot of our local units are out of county both Cal Fire and Fed. This makes my a little nervous! Depending on where this is at it could be timber, brush, or a mixture if both. Just hope it’s not down in the canyon.

Cedar Ridge is locked on it for a cross, not a good view of fire but you can see the glow and smoke.

Don’t know if someone working on the fire or the camera just change it’s angle. Hope someone working it.

Looks like they zoomed in and they’re knocking it down. 1/4 -1/2 acre heavy brush and timber per B4415. Staging TCU engines and WT on Italian Bar? He was on scene with some STF resources.

Good job STF for getting on it…A lot of people are going to sleep a lot easier tonite.

I posted this on the IA thread…

Additional Engine and water tender enroute.
I think I heard something about using a boat… maybe another incident.

.50 acre and slow rate of spread. 3 Engines currently on scene.

Generally NW of town of Avery off Hwy 4.

That was a crew at Spicer…Talking to STF ECC.

Thanks for the clarification.
Some of the fire start sounds like it came from one or two structures on fire that spread
to the veg.
Hose line has stopped forward spread in veg and cancelling some equipment. Keep the hand crew
and water tenders coming.
