I seen on watchduty about a fire called knight fire looks to be in the forest , visible on cam . Anyone got any information about it ?

I believe that is in TCU, started during the night sometime. Appears to be between Twain Harte and Arnold. I haven’t seen much info yet. Here is a camera that shows the fire live.

Looks to be in the MT Knight area. Mostly timber in that area with areas of timber and brush mix. That fire would be close to the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River. There are homes scattered all over that place. They want to smash that one right now. Haven’t heard the Air Force up and running yet from Columbia but it wont be long. Travel time from Twain Harte to get there is 45 minutes depending on the road. Just heard TCU dispatching equipment to it.

If it’s South of the middle fork it will be an STF fire and North of the Middle Fork will be a TCU incident

That should be a FED fire. From what I have heard Fed resources are at scene along with the Cal Fire. Fires a couple acres.

0803: Good progress on stopping forward fire movement. Hose lay is in on the right/East flank, starting to hook the left/West flank. Keeping Helicopters and Air Attack responding, holding Air Tankers.
0747: Additional Resources requested - an additional two hand crews and full air response have been requested. Law Enforcement and Fire Investigators are on scene.
0619: There are no evacuations at this time.

Stanislaus National Forest firefighters are responding to a wildfire near FSR 4N01A and Tiffany Lane, in the vicinity of Knight Creek. Fire is approx 3-5 acres burning in timber and brush, slow ROS flame lengths of 1’ - 2’ burning down-slope have a road at the head of the fire that would stop any forward progress, backing downhill, structures at risk w/in the area. On scene resource: 5 engines, 2 hand crews, 2 water tenders, one dozer, Stanislaus Air Resource 517 and CalFire air resources have been requested.

If it’s a copter show and hold the fix wing on the state side C-404 and 4 Alpha J at Columbia. Copter 404 is enroute now can hear them from my house. Fed side 517. Should be an AA in there somewhere.

1051 - FINAL UPDATE ## Unless there is significant change, this will be the final update. Fire is mapped at 5.4 acres. Crews are currently in and will continue with mop up operations.

AA15 went up to STF couple hours ago around 0900 and landed at Fresno @ 11:20

Just got back from Sac and looked on the Mt Lizzy cam. Nice work by Feds and State with all assets they brought in to fight the fire. Hardly any smoke now. Houses dotted all over that country. Could of got ugly if it ran into the Middle For of the Stan. Good Job Folks!
