Worked in Copper years ago. That’s a bad spot.
This on the east side by Columbia, or on the Valecito side?
Been on three fires there myself over the years and none were very much fun.
said Calaveras side
Calaveras side east side of bridge
Fires cresting the ridge, bumping structures. ICP set up at Camp 9 and Parrots Ferry. They do have some engines doing structure protection.
This will be the Airola Incident.
Using tankers for structure protection.

to make things even worse they are dispatching a new fire on Old Gulch road out of San Andreas lets hope it does not to pan out. Multiple calls thinking it might be the smoke from Airola Inc.
Vallecito side, North side of the lake, just East of the bridge.
North side calaveras side.
Very steep when it drops off into the river canyon. Lots of copter work. Brushy on top and lava cap covered with grass and brush. Some good dozer county some not. Looking a lot better than it did. Still a long way to go.
The other issue later tonite is if hooks around on lake side to the east, and makes runs up slope.
