Preist coulterville rd
The fire is approx 50 acres in brush with a moderate to dangerous rate of spread, several structures threatened - per Air Attack.

100 acres. Holding on the left flank
This is close to if not in the Detweiller scar
91 acres per Intel 12
Fuel moistures and ERC are too high for this to really get going, especially if there is rx work or previous burn scars. Also doesn’t hurt they have all the resources to throw at it.
Last large burn was 2001, last large RX 2000
The fuels are not there yet and we have no real fire weather this week. We did a lot of fuel breaks in that country. Don’t get me wrong plenty of crappy steep brushy country in that area. Give it another month see where the fuels are plus any prolong heat waves. I think everything was on Base and in the unit so they have plenty to throw at it. Should lay down in the shadows and tonite. Airforce is knocking the crap out it right now. Dozers were fairly close the Coulterville and Baseline dozers. Plus they have the Altaville dozer and MMU HQ dozer but that will take awhile to get there. Only bummer is going up Priest Grade to get there for most of the ground equipment. . So how this goes the next few hours. Only 83 at my house in Sonora. Looking at raws in that area pretty much the same.
From my house above Sonora.
200 acres couple short range spots into cueno creek road - division whiskey
There is some infrastructure on this fire Hetch Hetchy Powerlines. We used to do a lot of brush release under those lines with the crews out of FTP.
All aircraft off the fire for tonight. One type on Copter ordered up for tomorrow. 20% containment per WD. 200 acres. They are still building line and Dozers are putting in secondary’s. Going to be a long cold night for the troops on the line tonight. That area has some steep ground and heavy brush. Lot of old bug kill to make matters worse. Been known for a grow or two in that area also.
From my house fires looking pretty good. Like I said we haven’t had the fire weather and fuels are not quite there yet but getting close. Don’t overlook the fact that they hit it hard and some damn good firefighting on the IA. See what happens tonight and tomorrow. Great job by all involved.
